sorry in advance.

i'm sorry this is horrible, but i'm bored, new to cc (kinda... i've been lurking for an alarmingly long time now), and freaking out over college stuff. if you take a moment to chance me, i will buy you a puppy. or two.

gpa: 4.0 (uw)/5.0 (w)
rank: 1 (along with the other, like, 10 possible valedictorians. ap chem is wiping us out left and right though)
act: 34
sat: 2150

sat II: 690/690/670 (i'm retarded for taking these.. i didn't know people actually prepared for them.) let's just pretend like they never happened.

other shtuff:
varsity cheerleading (4 years)
competitive cheerleading
outstanding korean-american student of the year
national hoonor society
UPMC healthcare internship
tutoring twice a week
natural helpers executive committee
friends club
PA math league
french club
interact club
pep club
volunteer at local retirement home
certified mediator (i'm weird.)
hostess at local restaurant for the past year

anyone else super-nervous for late march?

I think you have a really good chance. How exactly do you get a 5.0 W GPA? is that all >97 in all AP classes? Definitely send in only ACT scores, those SAT scores will only hurt your chances. EC's look good too. Good luck! and I got in ED, but I'm super-nervous about those scholarships in mid Feb!

PS You can airmail me my puppy. I'm not very picky, any breed will do really... :)

thanks chet! our school's weighted gpa somehow totals out to be adding an extra point (5.0) if all honors and APs are taken throughout all four years of high school. thanks for the advice about sat-- i was debating that and just decided to send everything when i applied :(... there's no way to cancel those scores is there?

anyways, congrats on ed!! that was a reeeeeeaalllllyyy good idea, my sister went there and she absolutely loved it.

anyone else?

You are in. Should not have even sent SAT scores.

you look great. Don't sweat the SAT scores: WashU only considers your best scores from either the SAT or ACT, and so you're set with a great ACT score. SAT II scores won't hurt you, since they aren't required anyways.

you guys are the best. kinda funny that i also posted this in the northwestern forum, and i've gotten 0 responses. hahah just goes to show you that the "friendly wash u" vibe extends to its prospective students too!
