Okay, so my courses for next year are as follows:
-Physics
-Calculus
-Mandarin Chinese
-Genetics
-AP Euro
-AP Psychology
-AP American Government
-AP Eng. Lit

I'm homeschooled, so I'm not limited as to how many courses I can take. However, I'm beginning to think 8 may be too many ( A sure sign is when they won't all fit on the Common App..lol). I don't want to drop any APs, I can't drop Chinese or Calc, so all that's left is Physics or Genetics. I really want to do Genetics, but would not having Physics be a problem for college admissions/courses? ( I'm majoring in International Relations) Thanks!

Take whatever you want. I'm taking 8 courses at school plus two correspondence courses. No school is going to punish you for challenging yourself.

Physics is just really useful if you're planning on doing anything in the sciences in college. College physics can be really difficult, so it's nice to have some of it down before you attend uni.

Oh, and most people only end up taking genetics in college. Most high schools (sans specialized schools) don't offer it. Even though it's interesting, you can definitely take it in college.

I'd just take them all though. Psychology and American Govt are REALLY easy AP tests.

^ It's fine, don't worry about it. :) My dad was in the militairy until four years ago, and w/ moving every 3 years, it was a lot easier to homeschool than switching schools every duty station. I'm really glad I was/am homeschooled- with being in the militairy, switching schools (especially high school!) would have been rough. :)

Thanks for the replies, atrophicwhisper and casual!
