Sort of a dilemma?

So, I've mailed all my app material and UMich has received it; however, the test scores aren't there from CB---it will take two weeks. I am an out-of-state applicant, so should I rush these scores (extra $$, but will have the scores arrive in 3 days time, :) or will two weeks not hamper my chances too much?

I want my chances to be maximized.

I don’t think two weeks will make much of a difference. Rush score reporting is really just a ploy.

it probably won’t make a difference

for most schools as long as it is postmarked before the deadline you should be okay

Talk to the school to keep them in the loop. Tell the admissions officer that your scores will be sent and should be with Michigan by mid November. You will be fine.

Michigan doesn’t accept rushed scores, so your only option is to send them in normally.

yeah, umich doesn’t take rushed scores, so just send it in the normal way. two weeks should make a difference this “late” in the process. you’ll still hear back by the end of decemeber.
