Sorting AP Calc FRQs

Hey all. I’m self-studying for AP Calc BC (a couple years ago, I would have called myself crazy as well). I’ve finished going through derivatives and their applications. I want to do some FRQs but I don’t know which ones focus on derivatives. There’s no good way to sort them without reading every single one, which is kinda against the point.

My APES teacher (PA state requirement, not my choice) has us do tons of FRQs. He went through and sorted them by unit and put them all in a booklet, so he just says “go do the air pollution ones” and we can easily find what we need. Is there anything like that for AP Calc or any other good way to sort them?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If you have an ap review book, isnt there a practice test section after each chapter with a multiple choice and frq? Can’t you use that?

I’ve got the Barron’s one and there’s only MC at the end of chapters. And I’m not even sure that those questions accurately reflect the MC on the test.

You can always look at college calculus 1 and 2 final exams for more problems. For example:

Hey! I am also self studying AP Calc BC this year! I have been making sure to take as many practice tests as possible, even though at this point in the year my average score is usually a 40/50, I just finished my integral unit, so I would focus on speeding up the studying a little bit. Look at College Boards website, and barrons online has some pretty good practices FRQs as well.

Just a side note - our school system, in PA, doesn’t even offer APES.
