SOS Im freaking out! does anyone think I have a chance?

My entire life I’ve been dreaming about going to college in NYC and NYU was my ultimate dream school. However now that I am a senior life is hitting my like a pile of bricks… Unfortunately I slacked off a lot my freshmen and sophomore year and so my GPA is totally screwed. I did however begin to do much better Junior year and plan to Ace senior year but it won’t change much.I just need to know if there’s anything I can do and if you guys think I have a chance of getting into ANY of the schools listed. I’m honestly worried I’m gonna get rejected from everywhere cause I’m so lack luster. So here’s my Stats:

GPA: 3.2 UW 3.4 W (I know it’s bad)
SAT: 1400 (new SAT)
AP: I’ve been “advanced” in every class since I started highschool, took everything a year or 2 earlier then the rest of my class for my school. (Don’t know if that matters).
Taken/will take AP: computer science, bio, lit, Lang, art, and Stats.
2 years of Spanish.
& I’ll have really good letters of rec.
EC: I honestly don’t think I have any… I’ve had a job since I could leagally get one. I currently have 2, and I’m hoping to volunteer this summer and next year but haven’t yet. Art is more my thing then sports so I haven’t done any sports/clubs since middle school.

I would also like to make note that I failed (as in F on my transcript) Precalc my sophomore year…

I’m applying to these schools I think, I’ll list it in what I was hoping would be safety - 50/50 - & reach

Safety:
Portland State
University of Portland
University of Manoa
Western Washington
University of Oregon.

50/50:
Hofstra University
The new school (I REALLY wanna get in here)
Seattle University
Wagner
University of San Fran.

Reach:
University of Austin
Syracuse university
NYU (lol I know I won’t get in but I’m still gonna try)
University of Santa Cruz
University of Florida
Fordham.

I really just need any advice you can give me, my plan is to do really well in my undergrad and get into NYU for graduate school. Even if you could recommend me a good school in a good location that you think I have a better shot at? Please anyone help, I’m kinda lost with the reality of applying to college. Thank you so much!!

There are so many typos, please excuse my inability to proof read.

University of Delaware, Temple, Ohio State, Muhlenberg. Not really sure what you are looking for in a college but American University could be a more reasonable stretch and it is in Washington DC.

The #1 factor for NYU is - can you afford it w/o a mountain of debt? NYU is very expensive and financial aid could be a problem for many applicants. The GPA will be an issue for NYU (so is the F grade), the SAT is about average to slightly under, ECs are not that big a factor for NYU (but you need to have some.), having two jobs and school together actually won’t be viewed as a negative and could negate the lack of ECs. NYU will look at the essay closely, just don’t say you like NYU because of NYC… there are probably tens of thousands of such essays floating around each application cycle. To be completely honest, I think NYU odds are against you. I don’t have opinions on the other schools you have on the list other than UF is difficult for OOS, Syracuse a “maybe” but again the GPA hurts… Fordam will take lower SATs than NYU but also very expensive to attend. JMHO.

I’m sorry the way I listed everything didn’t really make much sense, I’ve never posted on here before and didnt know how It would be formatted. (On my phone I included more line breaks hahah)

Thank you, I never really thought that work could help my lack of EC’s. Also I know I’m not gonna get in NYU, I just wanted to include that growing up that was my dream school to help give backstory/ reference. Also I didn’t mean that I wanted to attend there only because of NYC at all. I meant more so that I would love to attend a school in or around NYC in general. I didn’t do a good job in clearly explaining myself hahah. However thank you for the advice about not including that in my essay!
