SOS: Senior Year Schedule

I’m a current junior planning my schedule next year and it currently goes as follows:
Latin I
Newspaper I
Civics & Economics IV (Honors)
English IV (Honors)

Theatre IV (Honors)
Latin II
Forensic Science
Newspaper II
As a confused student desperate to be accepted to a college I have several questions that I would love advice on:

  1. Is my schedule accepatble for senior year?
  2. Is it bad that I’m taking my 1st Language classes senior year instead of (for example, Latin III or Latin IV)
  3. I really love to sing so I’ve been considering switching Forensic Science and Theatre for Chorus (Honors). Would that be a good decision?
Thanks and All help/advice is greatly appreciated

What colleges are you applying to?

Yes it’s bad you’re starting a foreign language senior year, but there’s not much you can do about it except take one class over the summer at a community college to jump into Latin II right away (in Foreign Language and Math are evaluated based on level reached, so if you reach Level III by Spring Senior Year you’re fine).
You must keep Forensic Science because it’s a science.
One of your classes must be a math unless you already completed all the math (calc AB/BC) you can take at your school.
If you love to sing, join the chorus/glee club as an EC.

I have completed all the math I need to graduate. I could take Intro to College Math but I’m not good at math and I’m not trying to take a class I won’t enjoy being in while stressing myself out or get a B/C in the course when I could get an A in another course. My top two schools right now are UNC Pembroke and East Carolina University. I want to major in Journalism. I don’t think I can do a college course credit for Latin I. Do you think if I manage to get an A in both Latin I and II that it will be fine?
