I'm applying ED/EA to schools and was wondering when is the right time to give my teachers the recommendation forms.

Also, can the recommendations be submitted prior to the on-line submissions of the common application and the school supplements?

Lastly, if I am applying ED to an institution, can I still apply regular to other schools prior to receiving a letter from the school I applied to early??

Thank you so much for assisting me! I wish you luck to all of you in this process:)))

Give them the form ASAP! They will need plenty of time to write the recommendations because their schedules are probably packed. You will also need to (politely) remind them as the deadline draws closer. If the ED deadline is Nov 1, you should ask the teachers to finish their rec forms in the week of October 1st to ensure that there are no mess ups.

It’s common for people to apply to other schools before receiving notification of the ED results, but you will need to withdraw your other apps if you are accepted into your ED school.

early October is advisable, not too early and not too late.

the teachers can mail the recs separately, usually after you submit your stuff.

ED only restricts application as ED/EA to other schools
