<p>Sound is usually a course, often an elective, at film schools. Even NYU has like 3 courses in the area because actual major is Film/TV.</p>

<p>I second the recommendation for Emerson…and it is an actual major, not a course for those majoring in film or television.</p>

<p>Check out the Univeristy of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music. Check out the Electronic Media major. This maybe just want you want.</p>
