<p>Does anyone know how the SALC department at UChicago stacks up against other programs? I'm finding this to be a very difficult topic to research, so if anyone happens to have some insight, it would be greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>Ohio State has one of the best language programs in the country, but Chicago also has an unusually strong language program. Unlike many other elite schools, quite a few Chicago students end up concentrating in languages (if not as a major then a minor). HTH</p>
