South Korean Presidential Candidate is a Princetonian

"Chung, an academic elite with a doctoral degree from Princeton University who has taught in universities in Hawaii, London and Germany, has built a reputation serving in government financial bodies and as president of his alma mater, Seoul National University."

<a href="http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/Engnews/20070309/610000000020070309135919E5.html%5B/url%5D">http://english.yonhapnews.co.kr/Engnews/20070309/610000000020070309135919E5.html</a></p>

And yet Princeton has no department of Korean studies.

You'd have to go to Harvard, Penn, or Columbia for that.

Anyway I'm still rooting for Lee Myung-Bak or Park Geun-Hye. A GNP victory has a better chance of ending the madness that is the Sunshine Policy.

The East Asian Studies Department at Princeton actually has Korean studies integrated into it.

I checked my little brother's princeton course bulletin. To call it slim pickings would be overly generous :-P
