DS applied for and got a what is called a "Quad Apartment" in South Quad for next year. Has anyone seen or heard of these? Does it actually have cooking facilities? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

It must be pretty decent because everyone in it pays the single room rate.

Some of my closest friends lived in one last year, and I was in South Quad as well, so I was there all the time.

The "Quad Apartment" basically has two rooms. One is bigger, one is a lot smaller. My friends used the larger one (which the front door opens to) as a living room. They had all 4 of their desks, along with chairs, tv, fridges, and the usual stuff. They had 2 sets of bunked beds in the smaller room, which was basically the bedroom.

The biggest advantage is that you get a private bathroom, with shower. That said, you have to also clean it, which is something that doesn't happen a lot from what I saw. Overall I don't know if it's worth it over a regular double, but it depends.

First, you have to have enrolled to even be able to apply for housing. Secondly, you can't fill in the housing application until it is posted in wolverine mid march.
Cheers,
