Anyone been put in South Quad or heard anything about it? I'm a transfer. Thanks :D

Definitely check out: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-michigan-ann-arbor/724806-freshmans-guide-dorms.html

I lived in south quad (as a freshman) last year, and my opinions are decently summed up in my post in that thread (as well as of the other dorms, if you’re curious about them).

It’s legit… pretty big rooms and mostly honors students and upperclassmen. I disagree with the guy who posted that thread though- I’ve eaten there before and I thought there was a nice variety of good food available.

South quad is one of the best dorms on campus. great food, location. everyone seems to love living there as opposed to the other people in other dorms. they also put up fun events all the time.

I’ve been put in South Quad for Honors. I’m going to be a freshman this year. It’s close to a lot of stuff, so it’s easy to walk to/back from other places, which is probably going to be good if you’re running late or if you’re walking home by yourself (especially if you’re a girl). I ate at South Quad during Campus Day and the food was legit. So if nothing else, at least the food is good.

If you see a somewhat-tall-for-an-Asian girl around, it’s probably me.
