Southern Scholarship House

I'm interested in applying to live in the SSH because of its low cost and living style. Has anyone lived in the scholarship houses? I'll be staying at the SSH this weekend with a friend, but I wanted to get some 3rd-party opinions first.

Im interested in it too! How does your friend like it?

I’ve only seen the outside for the most part. They’re conveniently located, for sure.

The scholarship houses are all generally close. They may be older, but so much of the housing right around the perimeter of the U is older student housing,.This is typical of must state U’s Sometimes housing complexes in this are are referred to as student “ghettos’”, but they are not that bad. And next to the scholarship houses are nonscholarship houses where students pay bigger bucks for even older housing. They are maintained, and you can walk to classes easily. I would take advantage of any opportunity ho have expenses paid for. There are many scholarship houses, so I do not know which one you will be visiting.

Names of the FSU houses http://rdtest.fsu.edu/Campus/SSF.html

I don’t have any first-hand experience of it, but I have a friend who lives there and she loves it! I’ve visited her house several times and it seems like a good program.
