<p>Roundtrip airfare BHM-ORD often runs around $200 roundtrip, capacity permitting.</p>
<p>SEA_Tide, it’s only showing under the MDW section for me, not the BHM section. </p>
<p>The $98 would have been a little less than what I paid for my son’s fare on the 14th but I can’t rebook as Friday is excluded.</p>
<p>As Southwest has no change fees yet (their system can’t support them), it is often better to book two one ways rather than a roundtrip to prevent the pricing situation you described from occurring.</p>
<p>^Agreed, except I booked the return under this week’s 40% off sale. Purchase of a round trip was required. The over all fare was decent but I always check to see if it can be improved.</p>
