I'm planning on transferring to a college in my city, the late deadline for admission is July 15th (Space Permitting). I don't plan to live on campus and I filled out my fafsa for that school back in February choosing to live with my parents instead of on-campus. So I'm just wondering if your place of residence affects any decisions the undergraduate admissions makes with the space permitting rule in place.

Thanks guys.

This doesn’t refer to the dorms. This refers to how many “open” spaces they have for students in your category. For example, if an entering Freshman class is normally about 500 students, but so far only 450 students have committed for the fall, then there would be 50 spaces available. You can call this university and ask whether they still are accepting Transfers for this year or not, and if they are, how close they are to filling all of the spaces available in the class you would be in.

Ah okay I see, so they admit X amount of transfers, and if only Y transfers enroll, X minus Y is the space available I’m assuming?
