<p>hmmm...i always use two spaces at the end of a sentence...but i really don't think a college is going to care that much or accept/reject you just b/c you used 1/2 spaces after each sentence...if you're really worried, though, you should be able to call the college and ask</p>
<p>The rule used to be two spaces, but now the new MLA format is actually just one space between sentences. Either way is fine. One space might be better if you have a character limit, otherwise it really doesn't matter.</p>
<p>I also do double every time. It just feels natural. I got accepted to my school through ED with double spaced sentences so I don't guess they frown apon it.</p>

<p>Does anyone actually think that a college will reject you simply for putting two spaces in between sentences as opposed to one? I don't think so. In any event, I have always put two spaces in between sentences (and no, it did not get me rejected from any schools), but after reading this thread, I think I will start to use only one space.</p>
