<p>Does Spanish 3 equal 3 years of foreign language, even if I took it in tenth grade( I took Spanish 1 in middle school)? I want to major in math at a college like chicgo, cornell, or duke. Will it hurt my chances if I only took up to spanish 3 in tenth grade? BTW, I replaced it with an advance engineering course. Thanks!</p>
<p>yeah it is third year spanish. most people take it in tenth grade. if you wanna be a mathlete/engineer it's prob better that you replaced it with that as long as you can prove that you couldnt take the engineering course without getting rid of spanish.</p>
