I'm a senior right now, and I want to major in Environmental Science (conc. managment and protection), and I'm applying to schools like cal poly slo and davis, but I have a bit of a problem with my high school schedule. I already have 7 classes: IB econ, pre calc honors, IB english HL, IB history HL, physics, IB environmental science, and marching band. I simply can't fit spanish 3 in my schedule, but I am considering taking it at a JC, I'm just afraid that I'll be overwhelmed with the workload. My question is, considering my major and choice of college, would it be bad if I did not take spanish 3 at all?

If you drop Spanish, make sure you use the free period to do something really meaningful. For example, you could TA in a class that you feel also has a connection to your major.

I don’t have a free period, I just might take it at a junior college. also, I might just take the AP exam. but idk how hard that will be
