Spanish and French at Bates

<p>How are the Spanish and French departements? How are the professors? Is there a romance language major? Do many students major in Spanish/French language and literature? </p>

<p>I’m particularly interested in the quality of the course offerings in the literatures as opposed to the instruction in the languages. Thanks!</p>

<p>I don’t go to Bates, but I’m sure you can major in Spanish or French. I doubt there is a “Romance Language” major, although apparently those do exist!</p>
