Hi guys, I'm a little concerned (might be an understatement) with my Spanish 121 class here at Rutgers. I took the placement test over the summer and was placed into this course which is named "Spanish Review and Continuation". I thought this was perfect since I had not taken Spanish since my sophomore year of high school and needed an extensive review. Now, I walked into class yesterday and the teacher tells us that all of the dialogue spoken in the class will be Spanish. I could barely understand any of the instructions or material she was going over. Also, if you ask, the only reason I'm taking Spanish is to fulfill the requirement for the honors program. For the program, I have to take Spanish up to the 132 level (so two more semesters after this one). I'm fine with the instructors speaking exclusively Spanish for the 131 and 132 since those are the intermediate levels. But, is it not ridiculous to expect us to comprehend Spanish and go over material when it's intended to be a review? I'm concerned about my GPA, and if I'm wasting my time taking all these honors seminars if I'm going to struggle so much in this Spanish course -_-
