Spanish at SD (LISP)

So I didn't take spanish in high school. I took one semester of spanish at community college.

How are the spanish classes at SD? Are they hard, time-consuming, frustrating?

If I do plan on completing spanish at SD, I'd jump into 1B/1BX, so I'm wondering how hard it is.

During the overnight program months ago, my host had me go with him to his Spanish class… And boy was it fun! There is no english allowed when asking questions, but allowed to talk to other students when you need help. Everything is explained in Spanish, and there are a lot of skits, acting, and oral presentations just DURING that one day haha.

Everything was beginning Spanish, so that made it very interesting and funny, everyone laughed and the professor laughed a lot and played music for the class to understand Spanish through music also. With lyrics provided (circle the words you don’t understand, etc…)

Overall, Spanish class at UCSD seemed good and fun. I wouldn’t mind taking it but i’m taking Chinese :)

Can I, an absolute beginner, take spanish class at UCSD???
You said the teacher speaks spanish only. I am a bit nervous, because I know that I cannot understand a word.

Was that a LISP class though? I think you’re referring to a special program/class right?

Any other people have comments?
