So I was thinking of majoring in Spanish, but now that I looked over the requirements for a Spanish major, I don't think that I want to. Maybe I will double major... I don't know at this point. This last year I was in AP Spanish Language and I loved the class. I learned so much about the grammar and language. I took the AP test and I got a three (that means no credit at Rice). So if I want to continue studying Spanish I will first have to take the placement test. I wanted to know how the test is? Is it hard? I think that I can still test into the 300 level. I am really interested in taking Spanish 307 and 308. They are classes to learn how to become a Spanish translator in a hospital. Has anyone taken this class here or known someone who has taken this class? I don't think that I will take Spanish if I don't test into the 300 level. I heard that the 200 classes are kinda a waste of time. I think that I am going to do a study abroad summer program between freshman and sophomore year in a spanish speaking country, so when I come back I think that I could test into a higher spanish level.
