Spanish Immersion Programs?

<p>Summer is looming and i know that i want to further my Spanish skills. I'm looking for a 2-4 week program that will let me immerse myself in the language and let me skip some levels at school :p</p>

<p>Abroad or in the country is okay to me.</p>

<p>My budget is $1000</p>

<p>If any of you know any programs please let me know.</p>

<p>Btw, i live in California. been looking all over the internet and can't find some language schools. </p>

<p>I looked at Concordia Language village and its too expensive, i think i'll do their four week program next year, which is about $3000 (I'll have to work somehow lol.)</p>

<p>Well, this class isn't exactly immersion but you can complete it over the summer.

<p>Well, Middlebury-Monterrey language academy was very good last year but they raised the price to $4500, so it's too expensive. Last year was its season, and I thought it was well run and I learned a ton. I went to the location that was associated with CTY.</p>

<p>Antigua in Guatemala has many Spanish language programs. Although I don’t know specifics, when I visited there several years ago I was very impressed with the village and observed American students who were attending schools there.</p>

<p>Honestly, you won't find anything for that time period within that budget unless you get a scholarship. I'm sure there are a ton of scholarships out there, but you should start looking now.</p>

<p>CTY's online class in <1000. I'd say that's a pretty good compromise.</p>
