Spanish is killing Me

So, a little background: 2nd year student at UC Riverside. Political Science Major. 3.86. All Pre-Reqs done. Applied to UCLA, UCB, UCSD, UCI, UCSB. Took 3 years of Spanish in high school.

Question: I am very close to obtaining UC to UC reciprocity. The only thing holding me back is the four year foreign language requirement that UCR requires for Poly Sci majors. However, as stated earlier, I took 3 years of Spanish in high school, and have not yet taken a spanish course in college. In order to gain reciprocity do I have to take the full four years?? Or can I just take one year because I already took three years in HS.?
