Spanish Major

I'm an undergraduate student and I'm planning to double major in Spanish Language. I wanted to ask what I could do with a undergraduate degree in spanish?

Also, could anyone give me any insight of how hard the spanish classes are? I'm hispanic and I can speak pretty well, especially if I practice a lot.

Spanish provides the same basis for a sound liberal arts education as other humanities majors. In addition, it is an asset in any business or profession in which one deals with Spanish-speaking persons and countries. It also is good preparation for graduate study in any number of fields, e.g., Spanish, Comparative Literature, Latin American Studies, Spanish and Latin American History, Linguistics, Spanish & Pre-Columbian/Latin American Art History, Ethnomusicology/Folklore, Cultural Anthropology, International Relations, etc. Here is a sample of some relevant links for other ideas:

Like you, many Spanish majors do a double major. A lot might depend on what other major you combine with Spanish.
