<p>It is honestly hard to say without knowing more about your background as an applicant. But from a general perspective, I would assume that Spanish is more “competitive.” Seeing as many of the students who choose between Harvard and Huntsman (and end up going to huntsman) are spanish targets. This is probably because, as high school students, their focus is not as global/language-oriented as that of many of the other applicants (french, japanese, german, chinese, etc). But I actually think both of those languages are very competitive to be honest! Best of luck. I say go with french assuming you have great credentials in that field.</p>
