Is there a deadline for the Spanish Placement Exam? Can I take it at Orientation (July 21-22)? If not, can I take it online a few days before Orientation so I can brush up on Spanish? I took 5 semesters of Spanish during high school and got a 5 on SL Spanish but I haven't taken Spanish since junior year. Thanks.

bump please

I'm pretty sure you just have to print out your results for the first day of class to prove you're in the right class. Spanish is notoriously hard to get into, at orientation or just hounding ISIS for a space in the early fall... So know which class you're supposed to be in asap so you can have the best chance of actually getting into that class.

Does the OP HAVE to or WANT to take Spanish?

I took it at Orientation, but that was 3 summers ago. As I understand it you should have completed the placement exam prior to attending orientation. Regardless of what the process is you'll want to sign up for the right language class at orientation as seats in these courses fill up very fast - except 8ams, of course :P
