Spanish Placement In Person Advice PLEASE

Hey,

So I'm in a little bit of trouble. In order to start my production cycle for cinema next semester I must be done with all my requirements, and this includes Spanish. The placement test is this Friday and I need to pass out of all three semesters.

I took up to III Honors in high school and am studying like crazy this week, for those of you who have taken it what advice regarding the test can you give me? What's the best way to study? What are the questions like? How hard is the exam?

I'm asking about the in person pen/paper.

Any info would be really greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much

Anyone able to help??

I think it will be pretty difficult to place out of Spanish altogether, but you may be able to get into Spanish III. Me and a couple of friends took the spanish placement test last year during the first weeks of school, after 6 years of spanish in middle school and high school and only placed into the third semester. However, one of my friends was able to get out of it because he placed into the third semester on this test and received a 4 on one of the AP Spanish tests.

I do remember the test as being kind of difficult.

Good luck with your studying and taking the test.

It has been 2+ years since I took the test, but from what I remember, be sure to brush up on all of the verb tenses; I remember a large portion of the test focusing on them. :) Good luck!

I took five years of spanish (8th grade to 12th grade)... and I was one or two questions shy of passing out of Spanish entirely! :(
