Spanish placement test or SAT II?

Hey everyone. I am a newly admitted first year, and I am trying to fulfill my language requirement before I get to Charlottesville next August. My SAT II score gets me out of Spanish 101 and 102. Now I am considering whether to take the SAT II again, just the UVA placement test, or both in order to fulfill all four semesters. How does the UVA test compare to the SAT II? Harder, easier, about the same? I'm in Spanish 4 this year if it makes a difference.

i think you shouldn’t take the sat ii again because isn’t uva’s placement test… free… and not however much money the sat ii is? (maybe i’m wrong?) actually a better way to fulfill it would be to take a class which will transfer properly at a community college, though i think they still might make you take the test when you get there in the fall to prove you know as much as span202 teaches you. i’m sure they’re about the same, their placement guides aren’t just made up - if you haven’t taken AP spanish then the chances of you placing out of 4 semesters are pretty much nothing.
