Hello. I was just wondering if anyone has taken the Spanish placement online exam yet. If so, what's covered? Is it difficult?

I have the same question...

it's gotta be easy. do you have ap credit?

Unfortunately I don't. I took Spanish for 3 years in high school but I didn't take AP Spanish. And I've forgotten almost everything I've learned lol.

I took the spanish placement test last summer when I was about to matriculate. I had not spoken spanish for 1 1/2 years, reviewed for literally 5 minutes (basic verbs, flipped through a book), and then was placed into SPA 105, the intermediate class. So I'll have to a year's worth of language.

So it isn't too hard. A lot of it is easy. I'm sure I could have placed out or gone to SPA 108 (the highest class before the language requirment is fulfilled) if I had studied a lot. Thing is, having a class of review and an easier time is not necessarily a bad thing...

what was the test like? multiple choice? and what level of difficulty was it? is it comparable to an SAT II Spanish Test?

are there essays / reading comprehension / listening comprehension?
