I've heard that the reading test, in particular, is vocabulary intensive. Is this accurate information, or is grammar, etc. equally tested? Thanks for any input!

grammar < vocabulary, IMO- i took it at the end of the yr and remembered all the grammar from class, but there were A LOT of vocab that i didnt know

bump... thanks! any other opinions?

...anybody?

I'm currently in Spanish V Literature, and I'm not a native speaker. I took it in October and I didn't come across many words I didn't know.

Personally, I think the Spanish subject test is one of the easiest ones you can take, provided that you are a decent student in the language.

thanks for the input! anyone else?

bump......

i 5'd AP language, id say you need to be about that to for sure be looking at 680+

What level are you guys in?

Spanish V Lit, taking Spanish w/listening, hoping for 700+ but verb conjugations might push me don :(

holy cow. Im dominating in AP Spanish 5, but i would NEVER take a subject test in spanish lol.

thanks for the responses, guys...

i'm in AP spanish now, but i'm afriad i may have forgotten/not learned enough spanish to get a 700+ on the test (i'm not a native speaker) this Dec...

i got a 790, people

^tips, por favor?

I'm hoping for over a 700. I'm in AP Spanish Literature.

what study guides did you guys use?

I think its really hard to take language tests because all the native speakers take it and get 800.
It's kind of off topic, but I'm taking Chinese language in my school, and I'm not chinese- I can't take the subject test for that because all the chinese native speakers take it so its national average is 760... sucks
But I guess since Spanish is more widely chosen as a second language, it wouldn't be much of a problem.

720, in spanish lit (6) currently. Though it was pretty easy, didn't study at all. There was some grammar, I thought a lot of it was pretty straight forward though.

wow...

the test is in a few days, but i have barely begun to study-i'm screwed...

you are not in that boat alone. :-(
