People say my essay's amazing and social justice-y and I didn't see my recs I'd assume theyre good. I interviewed and it was my first interview and it went ok I didn't incriminate myself at all haha but not spectacular

Is it even worth applying? I'm not a genius and my extracurriculars are pretty standard. I know I could do the work and thrive here but i don't want to set myself up for disappointment if this isn't a plausible choice

I think you really have to take the proverbial “bull by the horns”, here. No one wants to be the cause of your experiencing any disappointment. But, if we could predict with any degree of certaintly who would be admitted and who wouldn’t, the whole process would be completely self-selective and 10,000 people wouldn’t have to apply every year. It sounds like you would be a viable and credible candidate for either ED or RD, but, there are no guarantees.
