cool 10char

Meh. For SAT Vocabulary, I recommend RR's 323 word list, the list in PR's 2008 book, and SAT Vocabulary for Dummies. RR's list is okay. Lately, I've realized the author does not give that great a definitions. As for PR, it's okay as well. SAT Vocabulary for Dummies is quite useful. It has roots, vocabulary words, and the author is simply silly. He writes in a humorous tone, and it's much better to memorize words/roots/prefixes. Just recently I think I posted somewhere else that RR's 323 word list was good, but I take that back. I've had this SAT Vocabulary for Dummies book for some time now, but I actually decided to go through it not too long ago. Might want to check into this: SAT Vocabulary For Dummies:Book Information - For Dummies

I actually have a hard copy of "Head Over Heels." After reading it I've found that it has a lot of missing vocab definitions (meaning the word is bolded in the text but the author has forgotten to define it). Also I don't feel as if I have retained any of the words... hahaha maybe that's just me.. :P

yeah it was hard to read a sentence that had 8 vocab words i didn't know. and i don't think reading is a great help with vocab anyways
