Sparknotes ACT Practice Tests

Are the ACT practice tests on sparknotes reliable? For some reason the reading and the science sections seem extra hard on there to me. I got a 26 and a 25 on them.

I also thought the reading and science were significantly harder on those. I got 1 point higher on their science test than my actual ACT score and either 7 or 8 points lower on their reading section.

Anyone at all?

i agree.
i’m studying through sparknotes and i keep getting 27-29,
which is substantially lower than my SAT.
i don’t know if sparknotes is harder than the actual ACT,
but i sure hope it is!!! these 27-29s are really leaving me discouraged…

I got:
26-27 Sparknotes Test
29 on the “official ACT practice test”
33 real thing

So I think Sparknotes is harder than the actual ACT…plus there are a few mistakes I think, especially in the math/science sections with missing graphs or something (however, this may have been on a different sparknotes test I took - can’t remember)

I crammed for a week with this book and went from a 27 to a 31. Good stuff. The calender really helped me.

how about their eng section?is it accurate?
