Sparknotes AP Pack (Bio and World)

For those who used it, what did you think of it? I've heard some good and kinda bad things. I would mainly use it for AP world History, maybe Bio. So what did you guys think of ir?

It’s a good supplement for Bio, in addition to the cliff’s book. I hav never used it for world history.

If you’re self-studying then the Power Packs probably aren’t enough by themselves, but if you’ve already taken the class they may be all the review you need. They have flashcards that cover almost everything (and probably a few things you never mentioned in class) which are a great way to review. It’s not the best way to learn the material the first time but it’s a wonderful review/study tool. They come with these fold-out sheets that are basically a summary of the entire class which are great for the day/morning before the test. I used it for Bio and I think it was more helpful than my Barron’s book. I also used it for all 3 history tests and they worked really well - in fact, it’s pretty much the only I used for US History. I just went through the flashcards in the weeks before the test (and this is having a semester off between the class and the test), thought the test was extremely easy, and got a 5. I think they’re great and highly recommend them. (I think they’re great whether you’re self-studying or not, but they work best as a review after you’ve learned the material from the class or textbook/review book, in my opinion.)
