<p>^I agree, but when you’re reading a book to simply take a test, and if the test only has concepts such as those that are available on Sparknotes, I think it’s fair game. I’m in an AP language arts class, and it has worked just fine. I agree, in ninth grade we actually had to do more in depth reading. And I don’t think it is luck, either, because you still have the information in your head that you have to recall.</p>
