Are the sparknotes practice tests an accurate representation of the real sat2 test in terms of score, question type, and level of difficulty?
If not, what is (besides the real collegeboard one)?

b
u
m
p

i'll say prepare with the barron's, its much more difficult and so u'll find the real test much easier.
but i think sparknotes is simpler than the actual test, so i dont think its the best option.

I haven't used SparkNotes. However, I have Barron's and REA. I found that Barron's is overkill, and REA seems to be more on target. It depends on when you are taking the test, but I would say that if you have a long time to prepare, use Barron's. If not, use REA or CollegeBoard's book.

Sorry I couldn't help with SparkNotes...

i studied w/sparknotes and barrons and sparknotes was much to easy compared to the real thing

so what is accurate?
princeton or kaplan?

800 on sparknotes
740 on real test

everzinny, did u take those tests from the regular sparknotes prep book or the "5 more tests" book

I did the "5 more tests" and got 760's on those, and scored 800 real SAT m2c. so... =

It was the May Math 2C, btw.

EDIT: But yeah, I still felt like the Sparknotes were a tad easier than the actual SAT2. But.... the purpose of the Sparknotes isn't to give you "actual tests" persay, they say they should be used to point out what topic you don't understand, and thats exactly how I used it. I took a test, and the ones I had no clue on, or got wrong - I went to the answer, and essentially "re-learned/learned" the topic to make sure I had an idea of how to do it on the actual test.
