Sparknotes Practice Tests

Hi there.

I just finished the second SN Model test for Math IIC
and question 11. asks for this:

Which of the functions graphed below has a range of (–5, 5)?

So five graphs were given and I chose the one with two horizontal
asymptotes at y=+/- 5.

After finishing the test, it said that I was wrong because -5 would be included in the range.
Shouldn't it be written like range [-5, 5)?
Is that my fault or is it a mistake on sparknotes?

Thanks

What is the right answer?

A - the graph has an asymptote at y=5 and crosses the point (-5/-5)
But I think it is not correct or at least the signs in the questions are wrong.

yeah SN can be a little iffy sometimes

Oh I remember that question. It’s complete BS because it SHOULD have been written as [-5, 5] but instead it wrote (-5, 5). So yeah…no biggie

yes, vbpointer is right
