I recently took a math 2 SAT on sparknotes and got a 670, but I also took one from the Barron's SAT Math Level 2 Review Book and got a 730. Many people have said that the Barron's book tests are so much harder than the real math 2 SAT, so how come I scored higher on the Barrons test than on the Sparknotes one?
Is sparknotes really portraying a realistic test?

Maybe your mind told you to concentrate more when you were taking Barron’s or something because you already knew it was going to be hard. Or something like that.

Sometimes just the types of questions can differ. I don’t know about math, but I do better on barron’s than sparknotes for chem

From my personalexperience I completely agree. I just score a 720 on a Barron’s test and I’m usually around 680-720 on Sparknotes. I’ve also heard that sparknotes is fairly accurate, but that has come from people with 800s on both sparknotes and the real test. As far as Barron’s is concerned it’s a hit and miss with people claiming between 0-150 points of difference (Barron’s being harder) than the actual test. CB’s tests are the most accurate, so if you want a good estimate take those.
