So I've been a business major but recently have been thinking that it's not for me. I know I still have awhile to figure this out and that's what I'm doing, but I was wondering where a degree in public affairs in spea would take me. I looked at the degree reqs, and all the classes I was taking would fit except A100, so I dropped that, since there were no books and if I stay business I can always take it next 8 weeks or next semester. I have always loved government, and I want to work for the state department, even though I know governmental jobs are hard to come by. What I'm asking is, would SPEA put me in a good place for a government job?
Thanks

From discussions with my daughter who is a SPEA student, your future plans could be met with a degree from SPEA. I suggest scheduling an appointment with one of their advisors to discuss your interests or attending one of SPEA’s info sessions. I believe there is one scheduled early this semester- check SPEA’s website.
