Today I received a "Personal Application" from Tulane. It was a letter with a user name and password to use for applying on line. Is there something special about this letter and application password? I am very interested in Tulane and had already started and application on line. I don't want to get my hopes up but maybe this is a good sign? Thanks!

I got one too! But I am concerned on whether it is legitimate.

Tulane selects students based on high test scores and similar factors to apply early and easily. It is 100% legitimate. I believe with the Personal App you don’t have to provide quite as much stuff, and if you mark it EA you will get an answer quickly. Full steam ahead and good luck!

S2 used the Personal Application and is now a very happy Tulane student. He heard in about 3 weeks. It was his first acceptance. As it turned out, he could have stopped right there.

Cool, I got one of these in the mail, hopefully gonna have it in the mail by next week.

So, this means you stand a very good chance of getting in, as long as the other parts of your app fall into place?

Like if I have a decent gpa like 3.7/3.8 UW and 4.15+ W, ECs like Eagle Scout, MDA Camp, Student Govt, etc… I shouldn’t really have a problem if I got one of these, right?
