I just wanted to tell you that my ex got into UCLA. He was out of state, GPA of 4.2 weighted 3.7 unwieghted, SAT of 1650. Not an amzing student but he was very involved and had alot of unique interests. I really think if you have something unique about you, UCLA will consider. They look for diversity. I have talked to several people who go there and they are all completely different. I have talked to kids who were ranked first in their class and i have talked to kids who had a GPA of 3-3.3 and very little extra curricular activites and low SAT scores and they were still admitted. I talked to a boy who took state at karate championship and they put a star next to that on his application yet his grades were very mediocre. UCLA looks for diversity and i think you have a chance.
