Is it beneficial or limiting to be a freshman in special interest housing? The BE involved house is one where kids are interested in volunteer work in the community. It sounds pretty interesting and it seems that it would appeal to kind, nice kids.

I’d say it’s beneficial. All of the freshmen I know in SLOs like them. Given the shortage of housing, I’d recommend one of the non-freshman-only ones though because as long as you stay involved you get guaranteed housing for subsequent years and you can stay together with your friends in the SLO.
