I got the letter from some sheet company saying the beds in the UF dorms are longer and need special sheets. Are they really necessary?

My brother (even though he goes to FSU) used that company a couple years ago when he was a freshman, and said the sheets didn’t last long after the first year and the towels felt like toilet paper! He suggested just going to Target or Bed Bath and Beyond for tha tkind of stuff.
But yes, they need to be longer sheets or else they won’t cover the bed!

Yea those dorm beds are twin extra long , so they need twin XL sheets. You can find those anywhere, and they’ll definitely be on sale this summer

Don’t fall for that offer, the quality sucks! When you wash them they lose the color in some parts, the beds don’t need any “special” sheet, use the same sheets you are using at home and you will be fine.
