What exactly are they looking for here? I'm not a concert hall musician, a painter, a computer programmer, an interpretive dancer, a mime, a yo-yo star, etc. etc.

What I have going for me is some leadership positions and A LOT of work put into certain clubs. But none of this is really considered a "talent" or "skill."

Or am I just looking at this the wrong way? What are some appropriate things to put into this space?

Thanks!

Feel free to have a little fun with that section. Put down some random tid bit about your self that makes you somewhat unique. It doesnt necessarily need to be a talent. When I applied I think I put the fact that I had memorized capitals of every state, canadian province, and over half of the countries in the world. But then again I'm a bit of a dork :)

Are you good at Monopoly or trampoline jumping? A good joke teller? A good listener? Sand castle builder? Do you play solitaire?

Think about something you like to do for fun when you are on vacation or have some free time or are in homework avoidance mode - whatever it is, you are probably good at it.

I put that I'm teaching myself french, I kayak a lot, and am trained to teach a non-violence course--things that were unique about me but weren't included in my transcript.

I memorized every state capital and some capitals of the world's nations too! Darn! I wish a thread like this was around when I applied EA.

I just put that I could read both treble and bass clef, play tuba, euphonium and trumpet, and communicate in five languages. I don't think any of these make me seem particularly unique.
