I am a panicked senior who’s taking her ACT throughout Special Testing through the window of Sept. 9-Oct. 1!!! Will my ed school (Cornell) receive my ACT scores by November 1st?!!! Should I send my scores directly to Cornell?!!! PLEASE HELP IM ABOUT TO CRY
My son took the ACT with accommodations last year and his scores didn’t arrive any later than his friends who did not have special testing. So, if the regular students will have their scores in on time, you should, too. You could ask your GC about this and to contact Cornell and see what they say about it. You could also explain your situation to the college rep by phone or email. There’s no sense in making yourself crazy.
When I took my first one in June I got my scores 4 weeks later than my classmates. I think I’m going to email admissions to check!
I have a student with double test time and his scores did take much longer to arrive. I am thinking they took four weeks. I would contact your counselor and ask what he/she advises. Either of you can can email your ED school and explain that the results may take longer due to your circumstances. Ask if it will be a problem.
