specific admit rates

I am trying to to decide which specific schools it would be easier to transfer into. I am willing to major in either economics/finance from the arts and science school or industrial engineering/operations research/financial engineering from the engineering schools.

Columbia, Northwestern, UPenn, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon.

Any thoughts?

The ease of transfer would most likely depend on your stats as well. If you post them better answers could be given.

applying for junior standing.
HS stats arent anything stellar: top10% of large public, 31 ACT
at a top 50 private university: 3.75 GPA, upward trend every semester (4.0 this fall semester)
currently a Finance Major, but not officially declared yet.
Will the schools care more about my quantitative classes? Or is it mostly overall GPA

ec’s? year? hs gpa?

im a soph right now (hence applying for junior standing…) HS gpa was a 4.0 weighted, not sure unweighted. ec’s…a couple of stuff, nothing outstanding. this isnt really a chances thread. i was just wondering more about the nature of acceptance differences between the 2 types of schools for the majors i mentioned.
