Specific advice needed

So I signed up for the ACT October 25th because I figured December would be too late since test scores are due December 31st. I just took the September ACT and got a 27. I was really hoping for a 30 and my composite went up by a point :( Initially I got a 26 C with a 29 E, 27 M, 25 R, and 24 S. This time around I got a 27 C with a 32 E, 27 M, R 23, and 25 S. I only saw significantly improvement in the english because it was easier to study grammar rules. I was stressing out on the math so much that for the last 10-15 questions I marked B, and same with the reading. I'm currently in AP Calc and I've always loved math but I always feel like the math on the ACT always turn out to be way harder. How do YOU prep for each section? I can't tell if I'm studying ineffectively or just collapsing under pressure. My GPA is a 3.99 UW and I feel like my ACT's are bringing me down haha. And I panicking since I only have a month to study.

Many colleges accept ACT scores up to and including the February testing date. The application is due January 1st but there can be later submit dates for other parts of the application (like scores) so you should always check with your colleges.

The test scores are due December 31 and the regular app is due December 1. So I figured I wouldn’t have enough time to take the test and have it scored and sent it to the college if i took it December 13. @nynightowl

gotcha. Just make sure you always check because (students don’t always know that) the deadline for institutions to receive test scores is almost always later than the deadline to submit the app.
