I'm going to be a senior in High School this upcoming school year and I have been looking at possible majors. I'm currently in a special Cisco Networking Academy Class in school and I enjoy the idea of working with computer networks as a career. Two majors that caught my eye were computer systems security and network/lan/wan management. These majors seem pretty uncommon for schools to have as I have only found a handful with them (although they are nice schools by my standards). Would it be smart to pursue an abstract major in computers or should I just focus on a computer science major instead?
