<p>Will having a background in say, the economics society in high school up your chances at Stern? (I applied ED) Do they look for specific activities in your EC? If not what are they looking for? SATs, especially Math scores are obviously important (although NYU did specifically state in the application package that ACT and SAT writing scores won't have much wattage for 08 admissions). Maybe people who got into Stern could post their scores, EC, and what not.</p>
<p>This is a thread from last year’s ED applicants. I’m in the same position as you, and I feel that this has helped me a lot. </p>

<p>It doesn’t really matter what your ECs are, as long as you have some. I, for one, did absolutely nothing related to business in high school. Don’t worry; it’s not like they have some sort of checklist when they look at your application..</p>
